 Dear All Sincere CONDOLENCE sad demise of Christin Scaria Allenchery (14) nephew of Fr. Joy Plathottathil SVD, Assit. Vicar, ICC Vienna. Christin is the first of the two sons Ms. Cicily and Mr.Scaria Allenchery. From the very childhood he showed greater intelligence and interest in learning. He was loved by all in our family circle. In 2004 he was diagnosed to have muscular dystrophy. After few years he was no more able to stand on his own feet. But he was particular in learning and drawing. He would draw pictures for the sick children in the nearby areas. Later he lost also control over his hands and it was very difficult for him to draw but still he would draw with his mouth. The whole family stood with him in his fight with the sickness. He experienced a lot of love and affection till the end. He had only very few demands and always looked pleasant. His little brother Anu was at his side and was a good teacher and a loving friend to him. The difficult way that the family had to go with him was beyond all description. On 24th Nov. he felt uncomfortable and he breathed his last with a gentle smile. I thank him for being part of our family. I thank God for the gift of Christin!
